Decision making exercise

March 10, 2015

One of the exercise which I made this weekend during my coaching school was about making decision. It’s useful when you have two options and your are not sure what to do. I decided to work on our two plans: one which is to work in Asia and then spend money travelling and second which is not work for money and based our travel on voluntary activities and exchange. I called first plan “work” and second “exchange”. Then, you write down all the arguments for each option and at the end you valuate them giving each argument point since 0 till 100 depending how important this argument is for you.

I was quite sure, that the option “exchange” will win. But I was surprised how big difference it was… 230 point for “work”. And 550 for “exchange”. Seems to be quite clear massage…
